MEET THE AUTHOR
Experience shaped into practical education.
Wisdom Banks-Bey is the author of the Choice Credit Education Dispute Manual 2026. Wisdom brings 24 years of consulting experience in HR and project management, along with 17 years in credit education.
The purpose is straightforward: help families affected by credit challenges understand their options, become better organized, and move toward greater financial opportunity with realistic expectations.
Choice Credit Education LLC is a United Capital Investment Group company.
Behind every report is a person, a family, and a future worth protecting.
For Wisdom Banks-Bey, credit education and fraud prevention are not simply professional interests. They are deeply connected to the people Wisdom loves, the hardships the family has faced, and a belief that no one should have to begin a financial recovery journey alone.
01
A MILITARY FAMILY LEGACY
Service has always been part of the family’s story.
Wisdom comes from a military family. Wisdom's grandfather, Daniel Banks, and uncle, Edward Banks, served our country. That legacy now continues into a new generation as Wisdom's son prepares to leave for service in the United States Navy in January 2027.
Supporting servicemembers, veterans, and military families is more than a message for Wisdom. It is a responsibility rooted in family, gratitude, and personal experience.
02
IDENTITY THEFT AFTER HARDSHIP
He saw how fraud can deepen a family’s most difficult season.
In 1993, Edward Banks survived a serious automobile accident that left him with lasting paralysis affecting the left side of his body. During a time when he was especially vulnerable, his identity was stolen.
Watching a loved one face identity theft in addition to a life-changing injury showed Wisdom why clear information, protective habits, careful documentation, and compassionate support matter so much.
03
ROMANCE-SCAM AWARENESS
His mother’s experience made elder-fraud education urgent.
Years later, Wisdom’s mother was targeted through a romance scam. The deception caused devastating losses to her retirement savings, and the scammers continued trying to reach the Social Security income she depended on.
Seeing a loved one manipulated and financially harmed strengthened Wisdom's commitment to helping older adults, caregivers, and families recognize warning signs sooner and find trusted places to turn.
FROM PERSONAL PURPOSE TO CHOICE EDUCATION NETWORK
What began with family experiences is growing into a platform for opportunity.
Wisdom's work began with credit education, identity protection, military service, and elder-fraud awareness. Choice Education Network carries those lessons into eight education pathways, Choice AI Mentor, community, technology, books, careers, and entrepreneurship. Project Foundation is the developing impact arm that will help expand access to that opportunity.
“Does this create opportunity?”
That question will guide every future Choice program, partnership, and product.
Let’s work together to help over 1 million people, including servicemembers, veterans, and military families.
Choice Credit Education is committed to expanding financial opportunity through education, books, practical resources, responsible consulting, homeownership preparation, fraud protection, and military financial-readiness support.
We believe people deserve plain-language education about how consumer reports work, how to identify information they genuinely believe is inaccurate, and how to communicate with confidence and care. We do not make false promises.
One Million People. Servicemembers and Veterans. One Mission: Better Financial Futures.
