Educational Consultation Agreement

What a Choice education session includes, what it excludes, and what each participant is responsible for.

Effective date and version: August 14, 2026

Purpose

A Choice consultation is a private educational and organizational session. The purpose is to improve your understanding of credit-report terminology, consumer resources, documentation practices, general dispute processes, fraud-recovery resources, or another agreed learning topic.

What the educator may do

The educator may explain general concepts; describe the roles of a bureau, furnisher, collector, lender, or government agency; point to current official resources; help you organize records; explain what information commonly appears in a consumer communication; and help you prepare questions that you can verify and decide for yourself.

What the educator will not do

The educator will not tell you to dispute information you know is accurate; promise a deletion, score increase, approval, or timeline; diagnose an account as legally removable; select a false dispute reason; fabricate facts, addresses, laws, deadlines, or identity-theft allegations; draft or submit a dispute as your representative; impersonate you; log in to your consumer accounts; contact a bureau, furnisher, collector, creditor, or lender for you; negotiate a debt; or provide legal representation.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the truth and completeness of your information, deciding whether to act, verifying current recipient instructions, reviewing every document before use, and submitting your own communication. You should consult a qualified lawyer or other licensed professional when your situation requires individualized legal, tax, financial, lending, or other regulated advice.

Documents and privacy

Do not email a credit report, identity document, tax record, medical record, or completed dispute. If the agreed session genuinely requires a supporting record, use the signed-in Document Center, upload only what you own or are authorized to provide, remove unrelated information when practical, and never include passwords, security codes, or complete payment-card credentials. An upload does not authorize Choice to submit or act on the document for you.

Scheduling, payment, and cancellation

Scope, price, session length, scheduling, rescheduling, and any payment link are confirmed before payment. A public request is not a confirmed appointment. A consultation purchase does not guarantee a credit outcome. Any service-specific cancellation or refund term presented before payment becomes part of this agreement, subject to applicable law.

No attorney-client or representative relationship

A session does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, credit-repair-agent, debt-settlement, tax-adviser, lender, or representative relationship. Choice does not receive authority to speak or act in your name.

Acceptance and records

When requesting a consultation, you must affirmatively acknowledge this version. Choice records the account, agreement version, and server timestamp without placing your sensitive credit facts in the acceptance record. The Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Purchase Policy also apply.

If the requested work would cross these boundaries, Choice should narrow, decline, pause, or refer the question to an appropriate professional resource.
